摘要 In this paper, black phosphorus (BP), a layered 2D direct band gap semiconductor, is employed to fabricate photocathode for wideband bifacial n-type dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSCs). By using a liquid-phase exfoliation method in absolute ethanol, ultrasmall BP quantum dots (BPQDs) with average size of 3.5 nm and thickness of 2 quantum layers are synthesized. By incorporation of the BPQDs as near-infared (NIR) light absorber and charge transfer layer in the photocathode, complementary light harvesting between photoanode and photocathode and effective electron transporting have been realized in n-type DSSCs. The power conversion efficiency of the BPQDs based quasi-solid-state bifacial n-type DSSCs is 6.85%, showing 20% enhancement compared to that of the controlled one (5.82%). The results demonstrate a practice solution for the carrier recombination defects to realize wideband n-type DSSCs only using photoanode, and reveal the large potential of BP for various inorganic/organic hybrid solar cells.
